As a gluten free foodie, avid runner and health enthusiast, founder Nikki Azzara was constantly looking for better-for-you snacks to satisfy her sweet tooth. Her chickpea cookie dough was the perfect solution. Based on a recipe she created in her Wake Forest University dorm room for her food blog, Slender Seven, Nikki saw the need for a healthier way to “indulge”.

Nikki decided to bring her idea to life upon graduation in 2014 by launching her cookie dough recipe as a product in stores.
